I take a lot of photos. I prefer that my sister take a lot of photos because hers are much better than mine.
However, since she lives in southern Indiana and I live in Texas, I occasionally have to wing it and do my best with my own blonde-friendly camera when I'm needing photos from my area to use in my articles or here, on femme's desk.
Nee (Alicia) frequently gets odd things showing up in her shots. I almost never did, until the ones I took in Tyler, Texas yesterday and the day before.
While I was editing for re-size, I noticed orbs. Granted, orbs are common and make an appearance in lots of peoples' photos, but until this trip, they haven't ever been a regular sight in mine. In fact of all the shots I've ever taken, I can only remember seeing them in two.
This trip I used the same camera I've been using since Torres gave it to me for Christmas last year. I've taken photos with it regularly in daylight, night-light, dim light, and no light. Only two orbs. But in the last set of shots I took, they're showing up all over the place. How cool is that?
I keep a folder for much of my sister's photography on an external drive. And on the laptop I use regularly, I have a folder for her there as well. In her main folder are sub-folders, and one of those is labeled ANOMALIES.
Finally I got to make my own ANOMALIES folder, and yes I'm all happy about it! I can now join the ranks of those who have managed to achieve shots with weird content! Until folks started pointing them out to me in their own photos, as well as others they discovered here, there and yonder, I never paid much attention to them. And then I noticed pointedly that they never show up in my own photos. (I think two times out of hundreds of shots should count as never.) I was feeling slighted and wondering if maybe orbs didn't like me.
Last year when I visited home, Alicia (Nee) and I went on a night walk around town, her with her familiar digi-cam and me with my new one, and took loads of shots just to see if we could get something strange and inexplicable to appear in any of the frames. I came up with zilch.
Something else I find perplexing is, none of these oddities showed up in the viewfinder. I always take the same shot a few times before moving to the next one. In event I have a blurred image, or some other foul up with it, I'll have at least one, but usually two more that I can count on for back up.
I got two photos with little missile-like objects, all heading the same direction, with what looks like comet tails trailing behind them. I included the one here that was the larger shot.
So far, I still haven't had any floating faces, invisible smoke (if that makes sense), or other apparitions show up in my pics. And what I have here certainly don't come close in comparison to what Alicia has in her collection. But, it's a start!
Maybe it was the atmosphere. Maybe it was the area. Maybe it was the company. Maybe I stepped in some dust. I couldn't tell ya.
I'm just happy that I now have my own weird pictures! WOOHOOO!!!
I'm off tomorrow. Guess what I'll be doing?
This could quickly become a bad habit ....
Any comments?

Just on top of the tank, a small orb sits to Randall's left. |

In the larger image I have on my laptop screen, I counted four orbs in this photo. |

This one also is looks better on my laptop. I seem to have caught little missiles leaving trails of tails behind them. |

Whoop whoop ! It can be addictive, and it is close to Christmas! More angel activity going on this time of year.
Nee,
I'm doubting angels will show up for a photo shoot just because I ask them to. :P
Dragons, Leprechauns and the sort have been known (for a fee) to show up and orb about in photo shoots
Lol, orb around abit , that's funny! LL. And you don't ask them sis , they are just very busy, they have a lot going on this time of year . Spreading cheer and all.
Thank you Lethal,
That's a great way to keep the old paranoia in check. :S
Nee,
