Stepping down - or up - depends on how you view it.

I've researched and read tonight until the whole of the data I've studied seems to have merged into a blended blob in my head.  Don't ya just hate it when that happens?

I'll sort it out later.  I should say, I'll attempt to sort it out later.

I met Torres for lunch at our Stockyards spot today.  We went through our usual catch-up session, drawing attention from everyone around us.  That seems to happen every time we meet for lunch.

(I think we get attention because we laugh so much.)  Sounds like a good enough reason to me anyway, and it's true about the laughing.

Part of the buzz was my step-down from part-time to per-diem at Laurel Land.  I didn't want to go to per-diem only, but it was the only way I could manage to squeeze more hours into the day if I'm going to devote more serious time to writing and school endeavors.  So, sadly, I'll be boxing up my desk-deco tomorrow, and turning over my station to someone else.

It's been a good run, and I'm going to miss being there with the Double L gang.  Ok.  Enough of that, or I may cry.

With the new hours alloted to me, I'll have type-time.  You would be correct in guessing that I'm thrilled with that.  See?  Woohoo! :D

I'm excited that I'll finally get to devote some much anticipated time with the Pumpkin Run Raiders series as well as several other lit projects.  I'm so relieved that it's finally going to come together.  It's gonna be a very fun project because it's involving some participation from some folks back home.

Right here, and for the record:  Yes, I realize gonna is not a word ....

To wind it up, Torres' and I have had a request.  For our next lunch-meet, we've been asked to ditch Risky's and head to Cattlemen's instead.  Torres' mother has assured us that their menu supports vegans as well as those who are non-beef/pork-eaters. Nice of her to research that for me. I was impressed. :)

We're easy.  Next luncheon - we'll head to Cattlemen's.

'Til next time!
